A little rest x x

Hello my loves,
 I'm back after a little rest from blogland. It's taken me a while to get back into the swing of things work wise, but I'm there now so I'm back xxx

I've been busy as usual with the crochet and  have a few things to show you. I'd actually decided a few weeks ago that I'd had enough of crocheting bits and bobs for craft fairs and was going to stop and just make things for us and the house. But ...I attended a craft fair at a local church on Saturday and sold lots of stuff and received lots of really nice comments, so I think I'll continue... for now :)

Here's what I've been up to just lately....
A friend at work was so fed up of having her cans of pop taken (by accident) from the staff room fridge I made her a can cosy......

There's no mistaking her can now.

My pal at Knit 'n' Natter inspired me with an owl door stop she made. So I made up my own pattern and came up with these little beauties....

I love them and have sold a couple already.

A friend at work showed me a book she had folded! Well I just had to have ago. It starts like this. Tear off the cover.....

Fold one side in like this. And the other side like this....

When you've folded a few pages it looks like this....

Keep going until you have folded every page. I love mine, it sits on my shelf. I'll show you a pic of it completed next time.

I've also been busy finishing WIP's the first is......

my third blooming flower cushion I started months ago.

I'm also still crocheting on with my grey Winter cardi and Gav's blanket.

I've also started this. As if I need more projects! I just couldn't help myself after selling a couple of cushions yesterday....

A Quick Hello x x

Hi my loves,

I'm just popping in to say a quick hello this evening.....I'm shattered!!

It's been go, go, go since returning from our fabulous holiday. I did a days work last week, this week I'm back full-time. It's so hard getting up in the mornings and would you believe I've woken early everyday since the beginning of the holidays and now I can't get up!!

With all the excitement of our hols I forgot to show you our glorious Sunflowers......

When we arrived back off holiday it was dark, I opened the curtains the following morning to find these beauties.

On to the crochet then. My grey Winter cardigan is coming on nicely....

It just looks like a square at the moment and it will do until I start the sleeves.

The top is made up of half trebles, the bottom is made up of close shells.....

I've also been busy with the  blanket....

 I love these colours. I'm going to crochet a bit of each a night x

I'm very tired but feeling a little excited, it's knit 'n' natter tomorrow night, hoorah :) 
I missed the last one so can't wait.
